OECD/GFLEC Global Policy Research Symposium to Advance Financial Literacy
Organized by GFLEC and the OECD/INFE, this annual event addresses cutting-edge policy issues and research ideas to advance the global financial literacy agenda, focusing on: financial literacy promoting a more inclusive society; financial literacy around the world: evidence and implications, influencing behaviour: the impact of the institutional framework, leapfrogging: innovative ideas across fields, and translating research into policy and practice. The symposium is attended by high-level international and OECD researchers, officials and experts from ministries of finance and education, central banks, regulatory and supervisory authorities, officials of state governments and international organisations, NGOs, and representatives from the academic community, private and civil sectors.
Global Financial Literacy Summit (GFLS)​
The Global Financial Literacy Summit (GFLS), hosted by the Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center (GFLEC) and the WorldPensionSummit, convened thought leaders, policy makers, practitioners, and executives from industry-leading financial firms from over 40 countries for a global forum on the new and rapidly evolving fields of financial literacy, financial education, and financial decision making. GFLEC and WPS hosted the summit in Amsterdam in 2013.
